People would probably be reluctant to wear this outside. This is the type of watch one places in their study or within a glass-enclosed display and stares at it. The story behind this watch is that it was apparently commissioned by an alleged lover of Marie Antoinette, the French queen.
The work on this watch began in 1782 by Abraham-Louis Breguet and it wasn’t until 1827 that it was finally completed by his son, 4 years after his death. Now that is true dedication. This watch is priced at $30 million. A plot of land can be bought with this watch.
